Friends Of the Parks

The Friends of the Parks is a non-profit organization dedicated to development and stewardship of Hot Springs area public parks.

Individual and Corporate partnerships are available for projects identified in the Hot Springs Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. This master plan is a comprehensive guide for future park, recreation and open space development. A Greenway Gift Catalog is also available for sponsorship selections. Both documents are available for viewing at the Parks Administrative Offices, 111 Opera.

In June 2000, the Hot Springs Creek Greenway was designated a Community Millennium Trail. Millennium Trails is a partnership among the White House Department of Transportation, Rails-To-Trails Conservancy, the National Endowment for the Arts and other public agencies and private organizations. The goal of Millennium Trails is the creation of a nationwide network of trails that protect the natural environment, interpret history and culture, and enhance alternative transportation, recreation and tourism.

As a “Park Friend” you can share in parks growth and development to improve the quality of life for today and for generations to come.

To become a “Park Friend” contact the Park and Recreation Department at (501)321.6871.
