The Criminal Investigations Division includes Violent Crimes, Property Crimes, the Street Crimes Unit, S.W.A.T., the Drug Task Force and Crime Scene Unit. Violent Crimes investigate, homicides, rapes and Internet predators, while Property Crimes investigate burglaries, fraud and theft. Street Crimes and S.W.A.T. teams, work together to investigate narcotics, street level drugs and prostitution, DTF is comprised of officers from the Hot Springs Police Department, Garland County Sheriff's Office and the Arkansas State Police. The Crime Scene Unit collects and maintains evidence after a major crime. |
