The Engineering Division designs street and drainage improvements, develops plan specifications and bid packages, evaluates contractor bids and participates in contractor negotiation, prepares project cost estimates, reviews construction pay requests,develops ordinances, maintains maps, oversees street lights, manages annual paving program, provides management oversight on major City Capital projects, administers flood plain and Public Work ordinances, administers and enforces Stormwater Management requirements, reviews residential and commercial building blueprints for building permits, investigates citizen complaints, inspects projects for code compliance, provides surveying for City projects and coordinate all projects involving City right of way.
