Hot Springs utilizes two water treatment plants in serving over 31,000 customers. These (2) plants are capable of producing a maximum of 27.5 million gallons of potable water per day. The water source for these plants includes the following lakes, Hamilton, Ouachita, Sanderson, Rick’s and Dillon. Hot Springs Wastewater Treatment facility collects, treats and transports wastewater for more than 23,000 customers. Hot Springs Utilities provides services to not only the citizens of Hot Springs but also to large unincorporated areas of Garland County.(more)
