City clerk certifies candidate list for Board of Directors districts 1,3 and 6
Following last Friday’s filing deadline, City Clerk Lance Spicer released today the list of candidates for Positions 1, 3 and 6 on the Hot Springs Board of Directors that area voters will consider at the November 6, 2012 general election. The position numbers correspond with the numbers for each district.
City director candidates include: District 1, Suzanne Davidson and Tom Wilkins; District 3, Becca Clark, Richard McGrew and Steve Smith; and District 6, Randy Fale and Dr. Jack Sternberg. Current city directors Peggy Maruthur (District 1), Cynthia Keheley (District 3) and Tom Daniel (District 6) have indicated they will not run for re-election.
Each candidate’s submitted information has been certified by the city clerk as having met the filing requirements as required by Arkansas Code Annotated §14-47-110 and is being forwarded to the Garland County Election Commission and County Clerk Sarah Smith for inclusion on the general election ballot.
