MLK Expressway paving notice
Beginning Thursday night, June 14, road construction consisting of roto-milling and paving of both lanes of the MLK Expressway between Airport Road and Albert Pike Road will begin.
The work will originate at Albert Pike Road, moving east to Airport Road. Upon completion of this section, work will move to the westbound lanes from Airport Road toward Albert Pike Road. This work will also include all entrance and exit ramps to the expressway. Construction will continue each week night for the next two weeks. All work will be conducted during the nighttime hours. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously and obey warning signage when traveling in the construction area.
