The Parks and Recreation Department will host a Mobile Activity Center program at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3 at Wade Street Park, 300 Wade Street. Children of all ages are invited to learn about the world of bats from U.S. Forest Service Wildlife Biologist David Saugey. He will demonstrate some of the equipment that researchers use to capture bats and will bring some species of live bats. For more information, call 321-6871.
