The City of Hot Springs is currently constructing decorative crosswalks on Central Avenue in the Central Business Improvement District #3. During construction, Central Avenue between Market and Spring Streets will be partially closed as follows: The northbound lane will detour onto Market, Broadway, Malvern, Spring and back to Central Avenue. The southbound lane will detour onto he northbound lane of Central Avenue. Traffic will be slowed, and motorists are advised to be prepared to stop. Weather permitting, the work should be completed in two weeks.
