This week’s “Inside Hot Springs” features Public Works Operations Director Denny McPhate along with City Manager Kent Myers, program host, at 6:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, November 19 and 20, on Resort Television Cable Channel 15. It will also air at 9 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, November 21 and 22. The program addresses downtown improvements including crosswalk installation, Confederate Square enhancements, and the painting of light poles, signal poles, trash cans and tree guards. Other items discussed include fiberoptic network completion from the Exchange Street Parking Plaza to the Hot Springs Police Department; adding parking meters in the parking plaza; cleanup of Hot Springs Creek; the city’s stormwater and street paving programs; the role of the Development Review Committee; and activities in the Traffic, Urban Forestry, Engineering and Animal Services divisions.
