City offices, except public safety and the airport, will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 22 and 23, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Sanitation services will be suspended on Thursday, and the Regional Recycling Center will be closed. Sanitation residential collection and Earth Angel residential recycling collection will resume on Friday and will run one day behind schedule (Thursday collection on Friday, etc.). Commercial service will resume on Friday. Hot Springs Intracity Transit buses and ADA paratransit vans will not run on Thursday, but will resume on Friday. Paratransit reservations can still be made by voicemail at 321-6625. The city’s compost facility will be closed Thursday and Friday.
