The annual Christmas parade will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 6 in downtown Hot Springs. This year’s theme is “An Arkansas Christmas.” The rain date is Monday, December 10 at 6:30 p.m.
Residents are asked to remove all parked vehicles from the parade route by 5:30 p.m. on the day of the parade. The route will begin at the intersection of Whittington, Park and Central Avenues, proceeding south and ending at Orange Street. To ensure safety, spectators are asked to stay off of the street during the parade. No vendors will be allowed during the parade.
Mid-America Productions will provide television coverage of the parade via tape delay on Resort Television Cable Channel 5 on the following dates and times: Thursday, December 20, 10:30 p.m.; Friday, December 21, 7:30 a.m., noon and 10:30 p.m.; and Saturday, December 22, 7:30 a.m. It will also be televised on Thursday, December 27 at 10:30 p.m.; Friday, December 28 at 7:30 a.m., noon and 10:30 p.m.; and Saturday, December 29 at 7:30 a.m.
