Bring your tricycles, strollers and other rolling toys plus a child age 8 or under accompanied by an adult to Entergy Park Pavilion #2, 530 Lakepark Drive, just off Carpenter Dam Rd. on Saturday, October 4. Registration for all events begins at 9 a.m. Safety inspections begin at 9:30. Sponsored by the Hot Springs Parks and Recreation Department and the Hot Springs Bicycle Association, this second annual event celebrates wellness, fitness and fun in a natural environment. Trail riding activities will begin at 10 a.m. “Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day,” a new national event sponsored by the International Mountain biking Association, will expose youngsters age 10 and up to basic mountain biking skills. Safety helmets are required for all bike riders. Adult mountain bikers are needed to assist. Please call Ken Freeman at 321-6871 to volunteer.
