The Hot Springs Fire Department is a public sector organization that provides professional services to the citizens of Hot Springs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The agency’s responsibilities include fire prevention, criminal investigations, search and rescues, emergency management operations, state mandated quarterly and annual inspections and many others.

The current staff of the department is comprised of 77 uniformed employees and 1 non-uniformed employee.

All 78 members of the Hot Springs Fire Department strive to provide professional, fair, and ethical service to the citizens and visitors of our city.

The Hot Springs Fire Department enjoys a great partnership with all facets of our community including our citizens, school districts, businesses and visitors. We are proud of the strong support that we receive from our City Manager, Mayor, and Board of Directors, as well as our fellow city employees.

Mission Statement

We will protect the lives and property of the citizens of Hot Springs from the effects of fire, emergencies and dangerous conditions.

Vision Statement

It is the vision of Hot Springs Fire Department to be an exceptional all-hazards provider of emergency services. We will develop and maintain strategic and tactical skills that enhance our ability to protect our community. We will hire and train exceptional people.
