Advisory Committees and Commissions 

Volunteer citizens are critical to the effective operation of municipal government. The City of Hot Springs is continually seeking qualified, concerned citizens to serve on various City advisory committees and commissions. The City’s advisory committees are advisory in nature and not created under any other ordinance of the City of Hot Springs or state statute regarding the creation of autonomous boards or commissions. If you are interested in serving as a member of an advisory committee or commission, you must submit a completed application, attend a meeting of the committee to which you desire appointment and attend an in person interview with the Board of Directors. The online application Board and Commission Online Application is the preferred method to apply. Applicants must be registered voters of the City of Hot Springs, unless otherwise specified. Board and commission members are appointed by the Board of Directors and meet in the Board Chambers at City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard, unless otherwise specified.
