Earth Angel Update

 

Did you know?  By recycling just one ton of corrugated cardboard, we save 9 cubic yards of landfill space and 46 gallons of oil.  Be the Earth Angel of your neighborhood, help an elderly neighbor participate in the curbside collection, encourage a neighbor to start recycling. Start recycling today!

Last week, the Earth Angels of Hot Springs recycled:
94 Lbs. – Aluminum Cans
5,770 Lbs. – Newspaper
263 Lbs. – Corrugated Cardboard
33,560 Lbs. – Yard Waste
1,020 Lbs. – Scrap Metal
13 Lbs. – Phone Books

 A total of 20.36 tons of recyclable materials were kept out of the landfill.
