Did you know? There are approximately 30-35 million real Christmas trees sold in North America every year. For every real Christmas tree harvested, up to three seedlings are planted in its place the following spring.
Don’t forget about recycling your Christmas tree!Christmas trees must be free of tinsel, ornaments and lights before recycling. They need to be cut into three-foot lengths or less, and placed curbside for free collection on your regular recycling day. Or you can bring the trees to the Sanitation Department lot at the corner of Valley and Runyon streets. Start recycling today!
