Earth Angel Update

 

Did you know? By recycling just one ton of corrugated cardboard we save 9 cubic yards of landfill space and 46 gallons of oil. Be the Earth Angel of your neighborhood, help an elderly neighbor participate in the curbside collection, encourage a neighbor to start recycling.

Last week the Earth Angels of Hot Springs recycled:

97 Lbs. – Aluminum Cans
5,497 Lbs. – Newspaper
196 Lbs. – Corrugated Cardboard
25,440 Lbs. – Yard Waste
620 Lbs. – Scrap Metal
30 Lbs. – Phone Books

A total of 15.94 tons of recyclable materials were kept out of the landfill.
