Teacher / Student Exchange Program

1The Hot Springs National Park Sister City Foundation promotes good will and understanding between cities through, among other programs, its teacher and student educational exchange programs. Each year, area teachers and students are chosen to spend a week in Hanamaki. They share their rich cultural and educational experiences and lessons learned in their home schools upon their return.
Applications are currently available for Garland County students interested in being a part of the 2014 Student Delegation that will travel to Hanamaki in July.  Read and learn about the opportunities available which are outlined in the application.

Applications will be available for teachers interested in applying to receive the teacher scholarships in order to go to Japan in June of 2014. Applications will be available in early 2014 and due in March.
