PTO (Paid Time Off)
Non - Uniformed Employees PTO Accrual Rates


Regular full-time non-uniformed employees are eligible for PTO leave after completion of 90 days of employment.

0-3rd yr                                       168 hrs per year (6.47 hrs/pp)
4th - 7th yr                                   184 hrs per year (7.08 hrs/pp)
8th - 11th yr                                  224 hrs per year (8.62 hrs/pp)
12 yrs +                                       248 hrs per year (9.54 hrs/pp)

Longevity Pay
$2.50 per month after first year of service, to a maximum of $900 paid bi-weekly.

Holiday Pay
10 paid City holidays per calendar year

Insurance

Medical/Dental/Life/AD&D; employee medical coverage is available for $10 per pay period; dental and life coverage paid for by City; dependent coverage available and paid for by the employee; supplemental coverage also available. Insurance is effective the first of the month which follows your 60 days of employment.

Example: Hire Date: 1/15/2018
           Insurance Effective: 4/1/2018

Retirement

City contributes 14.75% of gross wages; employees must contribute 5%, vested after 5 years of service.
