In an effort to expand the ways citizens can receive emergency messages or weather alerts in their area, the City of Hot Springs offers the CodeRED emergency notification system. Notifications are currently available by city website, the CodeRED Mobile Alert app and outdoor sirens (the latter in limited areas at this time). CodeRED allows residents the choice of receiving alert messages by email, text or voice phone call.
Expect the number 501-321-6808 to appear on your phone if you receive a call from CodeRED. This may show as SPAM (determined by the service provider) until the number is saved.

Android and iPhone users can also download the CodeRED Mobile Alert app to receive free emergency alerts via push notifications to their smart phones. These public safety alerts are similar to the CodeRED telephone notification system; however, instead of issuing calls, the app delivers community and emergency alerts to anyone with the app that is located within a notification area via their smartphone.
If you are currently a CodeRED subscriber that has already registered your mobile phone to get notifications from the City, you will continue to receive calls. However, if you download the app, you will also be able to get alerts to your smartphone anywhere in the country, including Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Alaska.
