Randy Outler was recently hired as the Director of Municipal Customer Operations for the City of Hot Springs, with responsibility for the supervision of the city’s Customer Service, Billing and Meter divisions. MCO handles customer service issues for water, wastewater and solid waste.
Outler, a Hot Springs native, has 36 years of banking experience. Prior to joining the City of Hot Springs, he worked at Arkansas Bank & Trust Company in Hot Springs for 16 years; Groos Bank, N.A. in San Antonio, for two years; Superior Federal Bank in Hot Springs for five years; and Arvest Bank in Hot Springs for 13 years.
At Arvest Bank, Outler served as branch sales manager, where he was responsible for its growth and overall performance. On several occasions under his leadership, Outler’s branches were recognized for performance (efficiencies and accuracy); sales (goals met and exceeded) and audit compliance adherence. Outler’s greatest strengths are team building and leadership with a strong emphasis on the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Outler is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School, National Park Community College and the Barret School of Banking in Memphis, TN. He and his wife Lynn attend Gospel Light Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon. They have two daughters and one grandson. In his free time, he enjoys working in his yard and spending time with his family.
