Following board interviews with two candidates, the Hot Springs Board of Directors chose Karen Garcia, by a unanimous vote, as District 5 City Director at approximately 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Judge Lynn Williams will conduct a swearing in ceremony tomorrow, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at the Garland County Courthouse, officially beginning Garcia’s term for the remainder of the unexpired term which ends December 31, 2018.
