The City of Hot Springs announces the departure at the end of this month of Michelle Sestili, who has served as the city’s Community Development Block Grant Administrator since 2013. As an entitlement grantee of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City of Hot Springs develops its own programs and funding priorities through a comprehensive outreach program with local citizens. Hot Springs CDBG funds are used to carry out a wide range of community development activities directed toward revitalizing neighborhoods, developing the economy, and providing improved community facilities and services.
The deadline for fiscal year 2018 CDBG applications is 4 p.m. on Friday, August 25. Applications must be emailed to Sestili at msconsulting@outlook.com or delivered via hard copy to the city’s Planning & Development office in the bottom floor of City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard.
The proposed deadline for submitting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ’s) for the position of CDBG Administrator is 5 p.m. on Friday, September 1 in the purchasing office at the Bill Edwards Center, 517 Airport Road, Suite C.
