The agenda for the Hot Springs Planning Commission public hearing has been amended. The Arlington Hotel has requested deferral to an undetermined future meeting of its request for a Certificate of Appropriateness for tower repair. The remainder of the agenda items will be considered by the commission as scheduled. The public hearing will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 21 in the Board Chambers at City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard, to consider the following land use requests:
528 Central Avenue – Bubba Brews Taproom – Certificate of Appropriateness application request to add business identification signs for new business;
340 Central Avenue – The Avenue and Blushed Signs – Certificate of appropriateness request to replace two existing transom window signs with two projecting signs at the entrance of each end of the Waters Hotel;
320 Central Avenue – Garvan Gardens Mural - Certificate of appropriateness request to replace the existing Mule Line Trolley Mural with a new mural depicting images representing Garvan Woodland Gardens on the south facing wall.
