HOT SPRINGS -- The Hot Springs Fire Department has issued a burn ban, effective Wednesday, February 19 for all areas within the City of Hot Springs. The ban is based on the potential hazard associated with low fuel moisture levels and elevated winds. The ban prohibits all controlled burning within city limits. All burn permits issued prior to the burn ban are rescinded. They can be reissued or extended when the ban is lifted.
The ban will be lifted when current conditions are alleviated. Information on burn ban status is available by calling 501-321-6977.
