The Hot Springs Fire Department will host a ribbon cutting and open house from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 4 for the new Fire Training Grounds, located at 617 Vernel Street (off of Spring Street). The public is welcome to attend this family-friendly event.
Firefighters will be on hand to demonstrate the multiple uses of the $1/2 million Kirilla Fire Training Simulator. Tours of the simulator, nearby smoke house and training facility will also be provided. For information, call 321-6971.
