A free homebuyer class will be offered on Saturday, May 19 from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Transportation Depot, 100 Broadway Terrace. The class, sponsored by the Hot Springs Community Development Block Grant program, offers up to $10,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance for qualifying graduates.
Attendees will learn about loan programs, available financial assistance, improving credit, budgeting, real estate contracts, home inspections, and more. Lunch is provided. Pre-registration is required by calling 372-2611.
