Central Avenue, from Fountain to Reserve streets, will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday for the Running of the Tubs Race. Signs will be posted, and motorists will need to seek an alternate route during street closures.
Traffic interruptions will occur from 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday during the Saint Mary’s Catholic Church Religious Procession. The walk route will begin at Saint John’s Catholic Church, north on Violet Street to Quapaw Avenue, east on Quapaw to Prospect avenues, east to Exchange Street, north on Exchange to Reserve streets, then north on Central Avenue, ending at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church.
