The City of Hot Springs’ Community Development Block Grant program will sponsor a free homebuyer education class with up to $10,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance for qualifying graduates. The one-day class will be held on Saturday, July 28 from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Housing Authority of Hot Springs Community Center, 1002 Illinois Street. Lunch and snacks are provided. Registration is required by calling 372-1611.
Attendees will learn about loan programs, available financial assistance, improving credit, budgeting, real estate contracts, home inspections and more.
