As part of the Arkansas State Aid City Street Program, paving began today on Seventh Street from Emory Street to Greenwood Avenue. Crews will work daytime hours only, Monday through Friday, for approximately two weeks, weather permitting. Upon completion, the work crew will pave Fox Pass from the Park Avenue/Highway 7 intersection to the city limits.
Beginning Sunday night, the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will repave Park Avenue from Whittington Avenue to Gorge Road, working Sunday through Thursday nights from 6 p.m. until 6 p.m. The project will take approximately three weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling near the project areas.
