HOT SPRINGS – Air monitoring test results following the Majestic Hotel fire have come back within acceptable levels, according to Assistant City Manager Lance Spicer.
A Malvern environmental consulting firm took air samples from three different locations near the fire site during the period between March 8 and March 12. Each sample was tested over a five-hour period. All sample results were within the acceptable threshold level of 0.1 fibers per cubic centimeter.
The City of Hot Springs will continue to monitor the fire site as future activity occurs.
