Three public meetings for the City of Hot Springs’ comprehensive plan update project – Envision Hot Springs – are scheduled for September 9-11, 2019.
Area residents are encouraged to attend and share ideas about how their neighborhoods and Hot Springs can evolve to become an even better place to live, work, shop and raise a family.
The first meeting is for the Gateway neighborhood, and residents of the Pleasant Street Historic District and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend. It will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 9, at the Transportation Depot, 100 Broadway Terrace.
The second is a citywide meeting, and it is set for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, in rooms 102-103 of the Convention Center, 134 Convention Boulevard.
The third meeting is for the neighborhood tentatively being called “The Box,” or the one-way streets of W. Grand Avenue, Summer Street, Third Street, Hobson Avenue and the blocks southward to Greenwood Avenue. Residents of this area are encouraged to attend the meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, at the Transportation Depot, 100 Broadway Terrace.
