The City of Hot Springs offices, including the Compost Facility, will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Thursday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 25, and for New Year’s Day on Friday, Jan. 1.
The Hot Springs Fire and Police departments will remain open, as well as Hot Springs Memorial Field Airport and the Water and Wastewater treatment plants. The 24-hour emergency on-call number for water and sewer problems is 501-321-6200.
No Solid Waste services will run on Friday, Dec. 25, and commercial and residential routes will resume on Saturday, Dec. 26. Residential, Earth Angel and leaf/mulch collection will run one day behind schedule (i.e., Friday’s collection will be picked up on Saturday).
The Hot Springs Intracity Transit bus and paratransit services will stop at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24 and Thursday, Dec. 31. The Transportation Depot will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1. During this time, reservation cancellations can be left on voicemail at 501-321-6625.
