HOT SPRINGS -- Work will begin next week on Phase 3 and 4 of the City of Hot Springs’ 2014 bond-funded manhole rehabilitation project. The project is scheduled to be completed within the next year, following phases 1 and 2, which were completed in 2013.
Work crews from T.G. Excavating of Catoosa, Oklahoma will canvas the city to perform the work. The work typically lasts no more than a few hours per location, with minimal traffic disruption. The previous effort was easily identified by the new paving surrounding the manholes as work progressed. This will again serve as the only indication that work has been performed. The project is vital in the reduction of inflow and infiltration as the city works towards achieving the mandates of the ADEQ/EPA-issued Consent Administrative Order.
