HOT SPRINGS -- Arkansas Honor Ride will host the first annual “Operation Promise Kept”
from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 4 at Hot Springs Memorial Field, 525 Airport Road to support the Warrior and Family Support Center.
The center is a non-profit donation-based organization that provides an environment where primary family members can provide daily support and encouragement in a non-hospital environment. Their mission is to honor wounded soldiers and improve their quality of life as they undergo treatment and rehabilitation at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The center is one of two highly specialized military trauma hospitals serving the needs of wounded soldiers, and is also the U.S. military’s burn trauma center. BAMC serves all branches of the military.
