Leawood Street, from Scott Street to Hollywood Avenue, will remain closed to through traffic until Tuesday, August 4 for gas main construction.
Shady Grove Road, between Mote Street and Hollywood Avenue, will be closed to through traffic from Monday, August 3 until Monday, August 10 for sewer main construction. The closing will remain in effect over the weekend and will include overnight hours. Shady Grove Road traffic will be detoured from Mote Street to Hollywood Avenue.
After being closed over the weekend, the portion of Shady Grove Road between Scott Street and Hollywood Avenue will re-open to through traffic Monday, August 3 before the portion of Shady Grove Road between Mote Street and Hollywood Avenue is closed. Shady Grove Road traffic will be detoured from Mote Street to Scott Street.
Signs will be posted, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes during construction.
