Pat McCabe Pat McCabe serves as President and CEO of Levi Hospital, a position he has held since 1987.   During his time at Levi, he has introduced numerous healthcare programs to the community that have improved the health status of area residents.

Pat was recognized as the first Sentinel-Record Reader’s Choice Man of the Year in 1994.  He has served in numerous volunteer capacities that include the Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute, United Way of Garland County, Retirement Development Authority, Main Street Hot Springs and the Inaugural Board for Leadership Hot Springs.  He has also served as the President of the Hot Springs National Park Rotary Club, Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 6170, and board member of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA).

He is currently the Volunteer Punting and Kicking Coach for the Hot Springs High School Trojan Football Team.  Pat also serves as a Blue and Gold Officer for the Admissions Department of the United States Naval Academy, and as such identifies promising young men and women who have the potential of becoming an officer in the United States Navy or Marine Corps.

Pat holds a Master of Science in Health Administration from St. Louis University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.  He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. 

During the late 80’s early 90’s, Pat served as city director for two terms.  He returned to the Hot Springs Board of Directors in the fall of 2009 to complete the unexpired term of a former city director and prevailed in his re-election bid for the same position in the 2010 general election. On March 25, 2017, Pat was appointed mayor to fill the unexpired term for the previous mayor.

Pat and his wife, Ellen, have been married 34 years and have two children.  Their daughter, Lauren, is a speech pathologist in Dallas.  Their son, Ryan, is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a captain in the United States Marines Corps. Ryan is currently stationed at Cherry Point, North Carolina.
